Welcome to a brand-new school year at Whycocomagh Education Centre! I hope your summer was filled with rest, fun, and meaningful moments with family and friends. As we step into this new chapter together, I couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.
Whether you’re a familiar face or joining our school community for the first time—welcome! Our staff has been working hard to create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.
This year, we’re putting a strong focus on building academic writing skills, strengthening our school culture, and deepening our use of Restorative Approach Practices. These initiatives are designed to support not just academic growth, but also the social and emotional development of every learner.
