Dear Parents and Students of Whycocomagh Education Centre,
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome you back to the second half of the 2022-2023 school year, and in particular I extend a warm welcome to our new students who have recently moved into our catchment area.
Whether you are returning from the holiday break or have arrived from one of our neighboring communities, please take the time to look through our website and social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) to see what Whycocomagh Education Centre has to offer.
Whether it is through focusing on academics, student leadership, extra-curricular activities, or volunteering, I encourage you, the students, to make the most of our school experience and to be actively involved in everything we have to offer.
I also encourage you, the parents, to remain involved in your child's education by accessing Parent Portal, emailing teachers, or phoning the school. Our doors are always open to you. Call or make appointments with teachers to keep the lines of communication open. I assure you that our teachers will do the same.
With each new year come some changes, as we endeavour to make Whycocomagh Education Centre (WEC) even better. What never changes, though, is the warm, welcoming environment which fosters the educational and social growth of the student body.
